I got so wasted last night, I busted out my old duster and started running around thinking I was Neo.

I went to a party as movie-hero wolverine.

I went as the guy who kept the cubbies out of hte world series. I only I went as him all beat up and limping.

Ooo, that was a good idea.

I saw someone who went as the recently mauled tiger trainer. Dressed like him, kinda looked like him anyway, had big gash marks on the side of his face and had a perfect stuffed-animal white tiger attached to his back. It's so mean, it's funny.

Also saw 3 Oompa Loompas. One of them must have been a whiz with a sewing machine or something, cause these didn't look like the cheap one-size-fits-all costumes you get from a store. They had the green wigs, the PREFECT shade of orange facepaint, white eyebrows and the poofy-legged white suspender/jumpsuit things.

I went drinkin up in Baltimore with some friends, and probably 95% of the people were in costume. I decided that since I hadn't dressed up for Halloween in like 20 years, I was going to go all out, so I went as Nightcrawler from the X-Men, complete with pointy ears, X-Men jumpsuit and blue facepaint. I would say it was well recieved. One person thought I was Wolverine, one person thought I was Spider Man (??), but several people at least recognized me as an X-Man and several more actually got the right character. One girl thought I was a "blue fairy", but I mentally forgave her on the grounds that she was hot, and flirty.

I had no idea Halloween could be that popular. Guess I've been living in the wrong cities.

some people are more boring than others when dealing with it... blech.

Everyone recognized me as wolverine (spiked up my hair, grew a bit of beard... looked very canadian), well everyone except 1 moron.

The following conversation ensued:
Him: "who are you supposed to be?"
Me: "have you seen x-men?"
Him: "yea... why? Are you freddy Kreuger?"
Me: "n/m have another drink, i'm dressed as the guy talking a moron."

Of my friends, I was the only guy who put much effort into it. One went as "an angel", basically just wore a suit and a halo. One went as, uh, Clark Kent I guess, basically dressed like an office worker with a Superman shirt underneath the buttonup, one wore medical scrubs over his normal clothes. Wusses. Of the girls we had one St. Pauli Girl (who very much looked the part, had the identical dress), one pirate (black dorag, sword, sexy pirate outfit), one medusa and one I think was going as "sexy vampire" but mostly just involved a REALLY short skirt.

So I was happy with that.

It was pretty good, I'll definately do it again next year.
