HBO - Game of Thrones SPOILERS INSIDE. you have been warned

Not really, I just watched the scene and she attacked one time out away from the trenches after they lit them(granted, she may off camera been attacking out more).

I think that answers your question. I think you can safely assume while you are watching Lyanna get crushed by a giant that Dany is out burning wights. At no time do they show them just standing around except for Jon waiting for the NK to show up at the Godswood.

Well, wondered where Dany was going to get an army for her war in the South? Simple, just ignore the carnage of episode 3! Problem solved.

Shit's gettin real!

Convenient way to get around paying for Ghost CGI, he's not meant for the south... BULLSHIT!

I totally thought Tyrion was dead. That surprised me way more than the dragon getting killed. As soon as they showed both of the dragons flying in unison at Dragonstone, I knew something was about to happen.

So many ways this could go now. It totally wouldn't surprise me if Tyrion/Varys end up killing Dany.

I kind of thought Bronn may have went ahead and killed Tyrion/Jamie as well. I at first thought he would just switch sides... guess not.

Bronn may have over-reached this time. He will be killed before anyone hands him over the Tyrell seat.

I wonder if Varys over reached as well?

Did Sansa over reach by telling Tyrion? When Jon finds out she may lose more than they realized.

Hmm I guess that is the theme of the episode.

Are Tormund and Sam done for the series?

What the fuck is so expensive about having Dire wolves in your show?

Man, if they could just get rid of Cersei, this whole war would fall apart. If only they had someone on their side that could possibly just assassinate her and end this whole thing in the most bloodless way possible. Maybe an assassin of some sort, one with amazing, maybe preternatural stealth, who could somehow blend in and get close to Cersei. What would really be great is if there was some assassin that maybe spent time in King's Landing, and maybe chased cats around in the tunnels under the Red Keep, and knows the Red Keep well. That would just be a really great tool that Jon and Dany could use to end all this. It's too bad there is nothing like that, which is good because that would be totally ridiculous.

I agree about all the overreaching.  Dany has pretty much lost everyone she cares about other than Drogon, she may do some crazy shit now to anyone who crosses her path.

Seems like the dire wolf would be a lot cheaper than a dragon, but that seems to be the consensus that Ghost has been left out because of CGI constraints and they'd prefer to spend that money on dragons than Ghost.

I do think Tormond is done, not sure about Sam.  I think we'll see Sam later... maybe as Maester of Kings landing?

I think Arya killing Cersei is so obvious, that they will bring it up to the point of fruition, and then kill Arya.  I'm leaning towards Grey Worm going ballistic and destroying a bunch of people.  I would say he may get the killing blow on Cersei, but the prophecies kind of throw me off that.  Granted, the prophecies threw me off Arya killing the NK as well so...

The last episode kind of pointed towards Jaime rejoining Cersei... curious to see how that ends up.  Is his redemption arc done now that he slept with Brienne?  I can see Jamie getting killed next episode, probably by the Mountain.

If Arya gets to kill Cersei as well maybe the show should be called "Game of Arya".

Yea I am with you that Jamie seems to be going back to Cersei which would kind of ruin all his gravitas he just got by going north. Like Bronn, maybe Jaimie is just a dick after all. I guess we will see.

Jon proved in this last episode he would make a terrible king. I am unclear why people think he would be better?

Varys is the grass is greener kind of dude. That can't pay off well for him. His idea "for the realm" is way off base.

Aren't we a little late for the mad queen act? They have given her every reason to go off. Not sure the viewers can blame her at this point. Dany has been restrained so I am not completely sure why Varys and Tyrion doubt her so much. Maybe you guys know better than I.
I don't particularly like her as a ruler but she isn't terrible either.

Edit:

It just occurred to me, maybe all this time where Dany thinks she is destined to rule her home, the 7 kingdoms, maybe she is realizing that she is actually a total stranger to these lands? Maybe that is really what all the pouting is about.

How did Jon prove he would be a terrible king? Just because he always does what he feels right, even to his detriment?

I don't think Varys is a grass is greener guy. If he was, then he would have done more to save Ned and get rid of Cersei. I just think he has no loyalties to people... although he seems loyal to the Targaryen name... regardless who the Targaryen is. I'm curious if Varys and Tyron are really on the same side of the coin. I wouldn't be surprised if they end up on opposite sides and ultimately end up being the reason the other gets killed. It wouldn't surprise me if Varys is just playing like he could be in favor of Jon as king just to see how loyal Tyrion is to Dany.

They've been pushing the mad queen on us for a long time. Whether it ultimately happens or not... it could be a bait and switch king of like Jon killing the NK.

Good point about Varys. I suppose he could have helped Ned more but then again what exactly could he do except free him? Ned wasn't going to leave without his daughter.

Jon as king will come to the same end that he did with the Nights Watch. He is terrible at reading a room. The things Dany lays out to him whether she said it out of selfish reasons or not were not wrong. Jon will be used against Dany regardless of what Jon does. If Jon was not interested in the claim any simpleton should know you never tell anyone. He needed a lesson from Ned in that regard. Varys is already plotting for Jon. People are preparing things now with the knowledge about Jon that they may not have done otherwise.

Jon is really lacking in the wisdom department. Honorable but not wise at all.

That seems to be a male Stark trait.
A-LA-BA-MA MAN!
HE'S QUICK, HE'S STRONG, HE'S ACTIVE!
You can take Alabama Man to the bowling alley, where he drinks heavily and chews tobacco!
HE CAN BOWL, HE CAN DRINK, HE CAN DRINK SOME MORE, ALA-BA-MA-MAN!
When wife asks him where he's been, just use the action button and Alabama Man busts her lip open!

Yea, the internet is pretty upset that Jon didn't at least pet ghost before sending him off to the North. That and upset that they killed off one of the only remaining main cast members that wasn't white.

No scritches, no nose boop, nothing. To be fair, that damn wolf guarded him while he was dead, and saved his life at least once. He deserved a "cya later, not" Scritch.

When I was watching it, I thought it was a little odd that he didn't at least go over to him and give him a head pat or something. It really seemed like they were trying to go as cheap as possible and not increase the CGI budget anymore than they had to by making Jon pet Ghost.

I saw somewhere that the excuse they made was that since they are linked with the whole warging and such, that Jon did it mentally... or something like that. The way the show did it, made Jon seem like he had basically no emotion towards Ghost.

Ironically I guess that makes sense if you don't realize how much they have bitched about how expensive it is to do wolves. Dragons, no problem, wolves are out of the question. They spent like 10% of their budget or something crazy like that on the Bear last year.

From what they have said making a fantasy creature move people can buy into but making a common thing like a dog requires so much fine detail because people know what real ones are like. Making them look real or capable of interacting with is extremely expensive.

If you don't know that I guess Jon does come off as a prick to his dog. Warging is only a Bran thing in the show.

I just assumed they couldn't afford it so it happened off screen. I sure as hell would have hugged my dog.

We haven't gotten to see an angry direwolf since Rob's. Stupid dragon budget.

Even then there wasn't much to it. The battles where Grey Wind went off, were all fought off screen.  What was the most action a direwolf did in the entire series?  Growl at Jamie in the cage?

Well can't say that wasn't totally unexpected. Definitely not the way I hoped it would go down. Guess we know why they couldn't spend the CGI on Ghost... needed that money for buildings. I wasn't expecting her to actually burn them all though...

I was expecting the battle to actually be at least a little bit of a battle. It was more of a massacre. Curious to see how this goes down. I'm guessing unless Sansa finds another dragon in the Winterfell crypts, that Arya kind of has to get the kill on Dany now right? I guess my money is on her going Faceless as Grey Worm and killing her. I don't think she's going to let anyone else close to her. If any of the main characters other than Grey Worm get close to her, my guess is they try to kill her.

I didn't like the way they did the Mountain. He should have been somewhat kill-able. Even zombies go down when you stab them in the head. I can sorta let it pass getting stabbed multiple times and just shaking that off... but stabbing him in the head should have killed him.

The Hound and the Mountain had to die together in fire. It can't be a just one of them watches the other one die. The Hound was born in fire from the hatred of his brother. The Hound died in fire killing his brother and himself.

The way they did the Hound and Mountain fight and their end was perfect.

Dany was right about one thing, their won't be any Tyrants in the foreseeable future. She will die and the memory of the Targaryen tyrants will be burned in the memory of the people for at least 100 years. This also shows why all of the other dragons (in the past) died out. You just can't let something that destructive live.
