Pffftt, why stream it to a static TV when you take your streaming movies and TV with you wherever you go, using the VeryReasonablyPricedPad? 
As for the IP, can't you just use Hotspot Shield or similar to fool it? Or use one of the services that lets you VPN to a US IP.
