If its a ganker, i've yet to be one shotted, but its certainly a better dynamic than tossing in unbeatable mobs.
Just seems like old EQ players are deluded into thinking the many many shortcomings of that terrible games were good things.. Apparently you guys find annoyance and excitement synonymous
