First, welcome to Crushridge! I hope that, regardless of which guild you decide to call home, you have an enjoyable stay here and are able to fulfill your future goals of Killin' Lighty!
Second, thank you kindly for such a well thought-out post describing yourselves. You sound like a good bunch, and I look forward to meeting you all in game.
The Purge is definitely a PvP guild. We do not cross-team, and we do not help the enemy. "If it's red, it's dead," is very cliche, but it is the basis of The Purge. If a red tag appears on the horizon, 99% of the time we will drop what we are doing and chase it down. For the most part, we do not believe in "duels" with the enemy, so if we come across a fellow Horde fighting a Lighty, we will jump in to help regardless of whether the Horde needed help or if they were just "dueling."
Many of us raid the xp zones to constantly disrupt their leveling (we did it much more often before HKs and BGs came out), and to keep them confused, bitter, and paranoid. We have no qualms about taking the fight to them, and because of this, wearing The Purge tag means you will be targetted first, and more frequently, than others around you.
And of course the BGs - there are nightly guild WSG groups always going, and when possible, we try to field a Purge only or Purge & allies AV run (fun as hell!).
If you are looking for a PvP guild, you've come knocking on the right door.
I like your MC proposal. The reality is that we PvP so much that many of us are lacking in the gear department, and because skill without gear can only hold us for so long, upgrades are much needed. I would extend to you guys an invitation to join us in AV on Thursday as well. This way you can be a part of BG PvP Purge style.
Again, thanks for the intro post. Looking forward to meeting you all!
