Another reoccurring theme is that every time one of the Starks does something selfish or stupid, their dire wolf gets killed... except Rickon(so far), his is dead and he's done nothing stupid or selfish that we are aware of(assuming that was shaggy dogs head given to Ramsay.
* Sansa's dire wolf was immediately killed after she lied about the attack on Joffrey.
* Rob's dire wolf was killed after he married Talisa and betrayed the Frey's.
* Bran's was just killed after he was using his green sight when he wasn't supposed to and stupidly got touched by the nights king.
