I am actually just about to have ALL of the seals and hoses replaced on the 20' Hewes Light Tackle Flats boat in my front yard. I was down in Flamingo out in the middle of nowhere and we blew an o-ring on the fuel lifting pumps... ethanol will completely 'eff up that stuff, and the maintenance is actually cheaper than the fixes... this bit of repairs is approx. 7k.
Do your best to use non-ethanol fuels, and when you can't (which is going to be often I suspect), use an additive to clean it all out.
