A lot of shit is changed because the future books are going to have to cut a lot of shit out, so they are likely focusing on some characters more than others for that reason. Obviously Hound's portion has been diminished in significance and littlefinger has been elevated, which is fine with me since Carcetti is a good actor and his characters far more interesting than scary mcscared of fire.
At 10 hours a season its going to diverge more than more from the books, the QQing will be strong in nerddom despite the fact that George was a screenwriter and certainly understands how you can't copy everything.
Also, I seem to recall Tyrion in a whore house in winterfell and he was not drawn as chaste prior to Shay (I've actually met the slutty actress who plays her, shes from Hamburg). You wanna harp on big changes, he is supposed to be far more deformed than Dinklage..
In the book, she is also 14... Why do they keep changing the book!!!!!!
