Just for a bit of a modern day update...
Some may wonder what our guild's focus is. We like PvP but we do Molten Core? We don't mandate raid attendence? What is it we're trying to accomplish here, anyway?
This guild's focus is getting a bunch of good people together to play a computer game.
That's all.
If we can get enough good people together to conduct regular 40 man raids, then that's what we'll do. If we're short on manpower, we'll do our best to search for good allies and good players to work with us to accomplish the goals we want.
Many guilds simply seek warm bodies. Their focus may be PvP or PvE, but when they find they don't have enough people, they just grab people off the street. That's the path to asshats and drama.
We can't always guarentee that we'll have a 40 man PvE raid ready to go when you want it. We can't always guarentee that we'll be able to fill up a Battleground team when you want it. But bring your friends and family and help us recruit good people and whatever we do, at least you know it won't involve a bunch of douschbags.
No game lasts forever and at the end of it all, the important thing is you've found a good group of gamers. We try to keep the guildchat to PG-13, we make it easy to recruit your real life friends and family and we'll do our best to explore the entire game, from battlegrounds to the deepest darkest raid dungeon, to the best of our ability without having to stoop to recruiting asshats.
