That is why College Football = Ice Skating.
Any sport that requires a judge to determine the winner is broken by default. It is irrelevant whether it is entertaining. It is still broken.

I wouldn't claim a 10-6 Giants was better than the 18-1 pats (although it was awesome, as my one emotional tie to NFL is carrying over my hatred of the Red Sox to the other faggy Boston team and their douchebag hoodie wearing coach).
Yes it does prove it. The Giants where better because they beat the Pats on the field when it mattered. Being 18-0 is irrelevant. The only record that matters is what happens on the field during the Superbowl. 16-0 only got you home field advantage. being 2-0 in the playoffs only earned them the right to play in the Superbowl. To be the best you not only have to get there but you have to win it. How could you possibly claim that the Pats were better when they lost the most important game of the year? IF they were the best team they wouldn't have lost.
You will never get to see that in College Football.
I get enough of the essense of College Football when I watch Gymnastics or Ice Skating in the Olympics.
