Murdoch woes

I wonder how far this is going to go, and when / If the stock will be a buy or a good LEAP play.

Could be a good call. Scandals like this always seem to dump a company's stock but they invariably recover since the scandal rarely has any real long term negative financial impact. Once the news of the scandal dies down the investors just come flocking back.

I don't really have enough concept of Newscorp's long term objectives to want to invest in them long term but a short term dip-and-bounce could be good.

The one thing I know about Murdoch is he is crafty, even ruthless business man. He doesn't care if his media is conservative or liberal, only that its profitable. And he will even change citizenship to grow his empire. I do not think he will lose control of or split up his company so the stock is probably a good play, but I dont think the news is over. If for instance they are found to have hacked 911 victim phones or who knows what, then more headlines are going to role in.

The question is when will it be at the bottom, because I think there is a nice little penny to made here with the right timing.
