DRM - Diggles - 08-23-2010 Somewhat interesting article about DRM on games. They mention that IEEE which creates alot of standards for electronics is now starting brainstorming 'digital property' schemes. http://www.technologyreview.com/business/26092/page2/ I would LOVE to be able to sell my shitty games for money, to recoup some of the loss. Companies should get the picture when there is a HUGE spike in Free to play. I would be much less cautious about trying a game if I knew I would only be out $10-20 at most if it sucked, instead of the usual $50-60. |
