Get high on sound - Diggles - 07-24-2010

I found this on Slashdot and remembered seeing something related to this on a special about StoneHedge. That Stonehedge amplified certain drum beats in certain spots. These same basic drum beats can be used to alter brainwaves.

uh sorry your 1 unknown doctor doesnt contradict this phenomenon. The special I saw showed the brainwaves of test subjects being altered to match the rhythm of the drum beats.

For the most part all the reports don't care about the actual sounds or anything. Even stating that the whole thing dates back to the 1800's so it's nothing new. They are all scared that these kids are being so easily scammed into spending money on something like this and what implications it has on them later with regards to actual drugs.

I blame DARE.

They have pushed kids to abusing sound waves to get their fix. Imagine if they came up with lasers that made you trip out when shined in your eye. Mix that with the music and you could take out a whole rave in mins with an overdose.
