I don't do apple but the girl wants one and i'm getting her a laptop for her birthday, anyone know anything about apple laptops - as in whats decent for normal everyday use?

they use intel cpu's so you can compared apples and apples, cept that mac os X is about 1/4 as light as win XP or vista
buy her the baseline if she isnt a photographer or video editor.

Some coworkers of mine have had good experience with their refurbs. They still carry the same apple support and you can add on whatever extended warranty if needed.
