Gaming glasses - Diggles - 01-03-2014

Ran across this while watching Planetside2 videos. I'd like to try something similar since he says they help reduce eye fatigue and I'll take his word as a gamer and computer user that they help. But $80 to me seems pretty outrageous. Anyone know of anything similar or tried these?

Woot.com has them for 40 bucks. Ive never tried them but I do get anti glare coating on my glasses which helps my eye fatigue so I assume these will work for that.

I bought a pair as an amazon lightning deal for 40 bucks, I like them quite a bit, my screen is way sharper for some reason, like it has a magnifying effect of some sort.

I have those exact glasses and never felt they helped. I bet they would be awesome for shooting skeet

If they did something about brain fatigue, I might think about 'em. Eye fatigue is not something I have an issue with, and this smacks of gimmick to me.

Re: Gaming glasses - TinStar - 01-06-2014

Well. It probably is as much gimmick as anything but I could see how it could possibly help reduce some eye fatigue because it is possible that it helps bring out details that you might strain to see. (I put mine on to write this response) Also, I would guess that if it did reduce eye fatigue that that would in turn reduce brain fatigue. But yeah, for the $$(I bought mine for super cheap) you could probably find a better use for your money.

The anti glare will help eye fatique... I assume the yellow tint helps see contrast (same reason skeet shooters use them).

I had read that just about any glasses making shop can provide a off brand that does everything these do. I use a old fashioned blue blocker at work and it seems to help some.
