QE3 - Grieve - 09-13-2012

Doh, I'm refinancing my mortgage today (in about 40m, in fact)...now I wish I'd waited! At this rate, a 30 year fixed is going to be at about 1% soon...

Good time to be in stocks! I'm pretty much 100% invested right now. Wish I hadn't sold my BAC and C in the last few days...

Do you hear that...... Its the sound of printing presses being fired up again.......

Last time they did this commodies went through the roof. I preddict alot of Volatility between now and the end of the year. Qe3, Europe, Debt ceiling, Budget cliff, and of course the Election.

Should be some great opportunities to make money.

I was wondering if you were still in your BAC calls. 9.25 today. I have November 17th calls for 11. Not quite in the black but hopeing it hits 10. I also own some BAC in an IRTA that is doing very well.

However my SRTY (tza) ETF is balancing out all my gaains Smile

Re: QE3 - Breand - 09-13-2012

I'm selling/buying a house right now so, hells yeah. My TZA is crying though. I have FAS and C still, been holding since way back in Feb 09. My metals (NEM, SLV, GLD) are on fire today too.

I sold my BC 7.50/10 Jan call spreads a week ago for a 200% profit, but there was a maximum potential profit of 614% if I'd held them to expiry and BAC was over $10 at the time ($9.40 right now).

Likewise sold my C spreads yesterday for about a 80% profit, but there was a 276% potential profit if I'd held. I believed all the pundits saying we were due for a big pullback, idiot that I am. Same with the Apple spreads I sold that are worth hundreds more today.

I still have some BAC Jan $7.50 straight calls, which I bought for 90 cents each and are worth $2.10 today. I'm going to hold those to expiry...
