new mouse - Kakarat - 04-25-2012 My current 5 button mouse I am retiring because of the unwanted double click. Its been a good run, since 2002ish. I just picked up the Mamba What I was looking for was wireless with a few buttons for thumb and ring finger. When I plugged the mouse in, I was like... ooo lights. There is a function on the mouse to change the sensitivity. You can use it on a piece of glass, (you just need to calibrate it for the surface). Yes, the mouse technology has surface calibration for your favourite mouse pad to maximize functionality. I have yet to try it out as I plugged it in and let the battery charge all night. Re: new mouse - Xyphos - 04-25-2012 If you notice it acting funny, update the firmware. 4 of my friends have mamba's, and 3 of the 4 ran into this issue where it would be fully charged but would randomly lose wireless connection. The firmware update fixed that. Re: new mouse - Kakarat - 04-25-2012 thanks for the notification! Re: new mouse - Kakarat - 04-26-2012 So far the Mamba been spot on. I don't have the sensitivity turned way up either. I had an issue with the mouse/docking pad waking the computer up from sleep mode. I managed to fix it by telling it not to wake it up. |
