The Hunger Games is getting quite good reviews as well, which I'm pleased to see - I liked the books. Then there's The Dark Knight Rises, The Hobbit, Spiderman reboot, The Avengers, the new Bourne flick, Django Unchained (new Tarantino), Gravity, and sorts of other goodness.

judging from the preview, yet another movie that doesn't do the book justice. the book is actually quite good, repainting the civil war as a struggle between vampire-controlled interests who wanted to build a country where people could legally be treated as property, and those who opposed them.
Nixon as a Jedi is a bad comparison. Lyndon Johnson as one of the original Men in Black, when he and that organization were both young, might be more appropriate.

That does look good. Kinda like Abe Lincoln, Vampire Hunter, it's kind of a bizarre take on some previously existing story elements though. It's like, "The Easter Bunny Invades Mars" or "Stephen Hawking: He's Back and He's Pissed" -- they are essentially creating a completely new story and just borrowing one thing from pop culture apparently to give it some piece of familiarity for audiences.
Maybe that works, though. Maybe "Jim Jimmerston, Vampire Hunter" wouldn't be as popular, even though it would be the exact same story.

Snow White and the Huntsman looks quite interesting so far - good cast (Kristen Stewart is a pretty good actress outside of Twilight), and fairly dark. Looks like they are copying what Tim Burton did with Alice in Wonderland (which I didn't like but my kids loved) somewhat. Hopefully it will be better than that.
Abe the Vampire Hunter looks intriguing - I own the book, but didn't get round to reading it yet. I think they are also making a movie of its spiritual sister "Pride and Prejudice and Zombies".

I'm actually looking forward to this. The story seems ok, but the cast is really strong. Like Slamz said, an interesting take on the story. Seem slike the story we all know from the Disney Snow White is somewhere there as a foundation, but thats it.
Should be good.

Yes you are. Nixon would make a good Sith Lord. This movie will be coming straight to bad movie night. I am disappointed that Nic Cage isn't playing ol Abe, but you can't have everything.

I can't believe I haven't seen anything about Iron Sky. SPACE NAZIS! I will definitely be seeing this! Hopefully Chain will come along. On one hand this looks incredibly stupid but what Geek could ever resist a Nazi movie where they get their asses kicked?!
