I'm too risk adverse for it. If it doesn't have a positive, 10-15 year track record, I'm probably not interested.

Yeah I mean it's tempting to treat it like a lottery ticket. Put $100 into various coins. For most of them, you will get nothing. You lost your $100. There is a chance, however, that one of them could turn into $100,000. At least, if you catch it on the spike and get out in time! (At the right in-and-out time, $100 in Bitcoin would be worth $40 million. Plenty of others though where $100 would be worth $50. Or $10. Or about a nickel.)

yea, and some of them, the window to make the $ appears and disappears before you even notice it.

At least Vegas gives you free drinks when gambling.

It's true, this is 100% how I see crypto.  People get rich off gambling as well.  More people lose their shirts though.

I suggest never buying random crypto coins.
BTC was an easy one and you will see by the news our new administration is crypto friendly.
We will have a BTC reserve just like oil, gold etc.

I pay all my mortgages, bills etc with Bitcoin these days. I live a simple life though and don't buy fancy shit like lots of other crypto degenerates.

You still got that Free CRO? HAHA! GG

You can't hold in crypto land for long unless its BTC. You can do shorts and longs but I don't mess with that.
I have MOG, SOL, BTC and CRO. I only hold CRO for the credit card benefits and ability to turn my BTC into useable fiat.

RE: Crypto - strife - 01-25-2025

hehe, that's just what was left in that account. I honestly can't remember why it's even there anymore, probably because I couldn't figure a way to get it transferred out. Everything I have left in Crypto was all given to me for free. Most of it is in Doge because that's the only serious crypto on the planet.
